She sighed, burying her face into him. “Don’t apologize. You’re not ready to say it and there’s nothing wrong with that.” she replied quietly, breathing slowly.
Matthieu licked his lips and stared off at the far wall of the basement, “Should I go get you breakfast? I still haven’t installed the refrigerator… I need to do that today.”
She frowned and held him closer. “No. Mine. Stay.” she grumbled.
Matthieu chuckled and ran a hand through her hair, “Possessive this morning, aren’t we?” He teased.
